For the past ten seasons the College of Southern Nevada's annual "Coyote Border Battle" has consistently been a showcase tournament for some of the top teams and talent in all of junior college baseball and 2017 is no exception. Whether its Texas powerhouse San Jacinto or the defending national champions Yavapai College, Southern Nevada has always been the backdrop for some high level action on the diamond to kick off the junior college baseball season. This year's 7 team field includes three teams ranked in the top 15 in the country and is highlighted by a showdown between #12 CSN and #1 Yavapai College on Friday night. All participants will play a total of 12 games in three days at Morse Stadium, Foothill High School and Burkholder Park.
