Isaiah Blaylock took the ball for the Coyotes looking to earn his first victory of the 2017 season.
Blaylock's previous two starts saw him yield 9 earned runs over just 3.2 innings of work, however Isaiah was dialed in from the word go tonight.
Blaylock stayed ahead of Okanagan hitters all evening en route to five shutout innings, allowing just a single hit and striking out five.
CSN got the bats going early, plating six runs in the first three frames courtesy of a pair of RBI's from
Jay Martz and single RBI's from
Jarrett Perns and
Kaid Urban. Two costly errors from Okanagan College gifted a pair of runs to CSN and Mother Nature took care of the rest.
A heavy rain in the bottom of the fifth inning prompted the umpires to call a halt to the game before the elements got completely out of hand.
Isaiah Blaylock earned the first win of his collegiate career as CSN defeated Okanagan College 6-0.
The win improves the Coyotes record to 5-7 on the season.
