Jocelyn Roach serves as the College of Southern Nevada women’s soccer head coach. Roach was hired by CSN in the spring of 2020, thanks to a strong mix of educational and coaching experience through several different soccer-related positions.
Roach’s primary ties to Southern Nevada came from 2005-2014, when she worked as a club conditioning coach for the Downtown Las Vegas Soccer Club, as well as working with various age groups in Southern Nevada’s ODP (Olympic Development Program). She also managed the Big League Dream Sports Park from 2009-2014, developing competitive leagues for adults in Southern Nevada.
A native of Dallas, Roach lived there recently while completing a graduate degree from Texas A&M-Commerce in Instruction-and-Curriculum, teaching elementary and middle school physical education. She accepted a teaching and coaching position at Desert Pines High School in 2019.
Roach played college soccer for Western Kentucky University, setting the tone for the new Division-I program. In her time there, she earned many awards and was honored with the Sun Belt 30-Year All-Conference team designation.
Roach has a daughter, Maraya, who is a competitive dancer.
