HERRIMAN, UT. (November 1, 2019) – The College of Southern Nevada women's soccer team entered the 2019 season with momentum, thanks to a hot streak to end the regular season.
Instead, the Lady Coyotes ran into a team with even more momentum as Southern Nevada fell to No. 10 Snow College in a game the Badgers crisply executed offensively. Snow earned a 4-0 win over CSN, finishing Southern Nevada's 2019 campaign at 12-5-1.
Snow scored early in the first half, leading 2-0 in the 12
th minute and 3-0 in the 17
th minute. Statistically, CSN was close in shots in the first half but it was Snow's edge in shots-on-goal (8-2) that told the story.
Lianna Soifua led the Lady Coyotes with a pair of shot attempts.
Amanda Lujan made 4 saves in the loss for Southern Nevada.
Snow will advance to play Salt Lake Community College in Saturday's Region 18 final.
