HENDERSON, Nev. (February 25, 2021) - The No. 20 College of Southern Nevada baseball team opened its final preseason series of the year Thursday, opening with a win over Community Christian College.

The Coyotes picked up a 10-0 run-rule win, scoring six runs in the fourth inning. CSN rolled to 12-5 overall with the victory.

Damiano Palmegiani and
Joseph Walls scored the game's first runs, scoring on a throwing error in the third inning to move to 2-0. Then in the fourth inning, CSN loaded the bases repeatedly and patient hitting led to the Coyotes scoring several runs on walks. Leading 5-0, Southern Nevada's
John-Howard Bobo hit a two-run double to up the lead.

CSN scored seven runs on throwing errors, fielding errors or walks in the win. Bobo finished 1-of-3 with a pair of RBI's.
Joey Magrisi earned the pitching win, striking out ten CCC hitters and allowing no runs in five innings.

Southern Nevada will play a doubleheader against Community Christian on Friday, starting at 2:30 p.m. at Morse Stadium.Â
