HENDERSON, Nev. (March 5, 2021) - The No. 18 College of Southern Nevada baseball team kept its momentum Friday, sweeping a Scenic West Athletic Conference doubleheader at home.

The Coyotes picked up a pair of victories over the College of Southern Idaho at Morse Stadium, earning an 8-1 win in game one and a 7-6 win in game two. The victories lift CSN to 18-5 overall and 3-0 in league play. Southern Nevada is now on a seven-game winning streak.

CSN will host CSI in a series finale at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Southern Nevada 8, Southern Idaho 1: Early and consistent scoring boosted the Coyotes to a win.

Justin Olson and
Joseph Walls both hit RBI singles early to boost the Coyotes to a 3-0 lead after two innings, with
John-Howard Bobo hitting a two-run triple in the fifth inning to put the game out of reach. Southern Nevada also scored two runs in the game on errors.

Bobo was 2-of-2 at the plate, while Walls was 2-of-4.
Josh Swales earned the pitching win, throwing five inning and striking out seven CSI batters.

Southern Nevada 7, Southern Idaho 6: A bases-loaded walk-off led CSN to a thrilling victory.

With the score tied at 6-6 in the eighth inning,
Damiano Palmegiani was hit by a pitch, sending
Pomai Kim home on a bases-loaded walk to score the game-winning run. The walk-off walk capped a thrilling comeback that saw CSI take an early lead before the Coyotes charged back, using a Palmegiani home run to start the run.

Everett Williams and
Zach Culver both finished 2-of-3 at the plate to lead Southern Nevada. In a team pitching performance,
Andrew Hauck earned the victory with two innings of relief.Â
