HENDERSON, Nev. (April 1, 2021) - The College of Southern Nevada women's soccer team lost their 2021 season debut on Thursday, falling in a non-conference match at home.

CSN dropped a narrow 1-0 decision to Arizona Western College, narrowly falling in a match where offense was at a premium. Southern Nevada is now 0-1 on the young season, with this weekend being the only weekend of non-conference play.

The Lady Coyotes and Arizona Western fought back-and-forth, with CSN holding a 16-14 edge in total shots and a 6-4 edge in shots-on-goal. AWC scored the only goal at the 17:38 mark in the first period.

Geraldi Rivera led CSN with a total of four shots apiece.
