CRAIG, CO. (April 24, 2021) – A strong offensive performance boosted the College of Southern Nevada women's soccer team to a Scenic West Athletic Conference road victory Saturday.
The Lady Coyotes earned a 10-1 win over Colorado Northwestern, moving to 2-3 in Scenic West play. Southern Nevada is now 2-5 overall.
CSN came out firing, posting seven goals in the first period.
Jasmin Pizano opened the scoring in the 22
nd minute, with
Geraldi Rivera scoring minutes later.
Trinity Oeland score her first of three goals on the day in the first period, with Rivera scoring again in the second half.
Southern Nevada held a 39-2 advantage in shots, with a 9-0 margin in corner kicks. Oeland and Rivera both scored three goals apiece for CSN.
Southern Nevada will continue a long road swing next week, playing matches at No. 8 Salt Lake and in-state rival Truckee Meadows.
