HENDERSON, Nev. (September 18, 2021) – The College of Southern Nevada Women's Soccer team earned a strong home win on Saturday.
 
CSN picked up a 5-0 victory over Community Christian College, earning their first-ever win over the new Scenic West league member. Southern Nevada is now 3-6 overall and 3-1 in Scenic West play.
 
The Lady Coyotes held a 1-0 lead at halftime, thanks to a Geraldi Gomez goal, then exploded for four goals in the second half. Annabell Olivero, Nanea Moke-Rabang, Yoselyn Ay-Varguez and Natalie Brewer all posted goals for CSN in the second period.
 
Southern Nevada held a 27-0 advantage in shots, dominating the match. Reina Pizano and Carolina Cadena both preserved the shutout at goal.
 
The Lady Coyotes will host No. 3 Salt Lake on Thursday.
