HENDERSON, Nev. (September 2, 2021) – The College of Southern Nevada Women's Soccer team triumphantly opened Scenic West Athletic Conference play Thursday.
 
CSN picked up a strong 10-0 win at Colorado Northwestern, also earning their first victory of the season. Southern Nevada is now 1-3 overall and 1-0 in Scenic West play.
 
Annabell Olivero opened the scoring early, with Grace Sedillo posting a pair of goals in the first half. Geraldi Gomez scored three goals in the first half to give Southern Nevada a 6-0 lead. Sedillo added another score late in the second half. 
 
CSN held a 31-5 advantage in total shots, with Southern Nevada goalie Nermina Celikovic posting four saves in the match. The Lady Coyotes posted a 13-2 advantage in corner kicks. 
 
Southern Nevada will continue a road trip Friday, playing at Laramie County Community College.
