In a thrilling soccer match held at the Cheyenne Sports Complex in North Las Vegas, the College of Southern Nevada secured a convincing victory over Colorado Northwestern Community College with a final score of 4-1.
The first half of the game saw both teams fighting fiercely for control of the ball. At the 15:10 mark, the College of Southern Nevada took the lead with a goal by Riley Cardenas, assisted by Jenna Garcia. However, Colorado Northwestern Community College responded swiftly, with Candence Young netting an equalizer at the 28:52 mark. The first half ended with the score tied at 1-1.
The second half of the game belonged to the College of Southern Nevada. They demonstrated remarkable offensive prowess, scoring three goals. Melinda Bravo-Avendano found the back of the net at the 67:28 mark, extending their lead. An own goal by Colorado Northwestern Community College at the 73:19 mark further solidified the College of Southern Nevada's lead.
