HENDERSON, Nev. (February 20, 2023) – The final non-conference series of the year ended with a sweep for the College of Southern Nevada Baseball team.
CSN posted a 14-2 win over Prairie Baseball Academy, finishing off a four-game sweep of the Dawgs. The victory lifts Southern Nevada to 12-4 overall.
Continuing a consistent theme, the Coyotes started hot and never let up, taking a 6-0 lead after three innings. CSN only had three extra-base hits in the game, with Southern Nevada using well-placed hits to add runs. The Coyotes also had four runs walked home in the fifth inning alone.
Bradley Stone was 3-of-4 at the plate to lead Southern Nevada, while
Jack Hale went 2-of-3 with three RBI's.
Garrison Geis was 2-of-2, scored a pair of runs, and hit an RBI double in the fifth inning.
Ethan O'Neal earned the pitching win, striking out six Prairie batters.
Southern Nevada will return to the field on March 3, hosting Salt Lake Community College in a four-game series.
