HENDERSON, Nev. (April 15, 2023) – The College of Southern Nevada Softball team did everything in its power to win a doubleheader at Southern Idaho Saturday.

Southern Nevada will host Snow College next weekend.

Southern Nevada 7, Southern Idaho 4: Consistent hitting lifted the Lady Coyotes to the victory.

Tied at 1-1 in the third inning, Cynthia Alvillar hit an RBI single to give CSN the lead, followed up by Mia Flores hitting a solo home run to boost the Lady Coyotes to a 3-1 advantage. Kyanna Galvin blasted a two-run shot in the sixth inning, followed by Flores posting a two-run home run in the seventh inning.

Kayley Cole went 3-of-4 at the plate to lead CSN, while Flores was 2-of-3 with four RBI's. Flores also earned the pitching win, moving to 5-2 on the season.

Southern Idaho 18, Southern Nevada 2: A fast start turned into a run-rule loss for Southern Nevada.
