College of Southern Nevada Secures Convincing Win Over Prairie Baseball Academy

Henderson, NV - In a thrilling showdown at Morse Stadium on Tuesday, the College of Southern Nevada Coyotes showcased their dominance against Prairie Baseball Academy with a commanding 7-1 victory. With this win, the Coyotes improved their record to 7-7 for the season, demonstrating their prowess on both offense and defense.

From the onset, the Coyotes displayed their intent to seize control of the game. Center fielder Jet Gilliam set the tone early on with a powerful triple to left center in the bottom of the first inning. Gilliam's stellar performance continued throughout the game, as he went on to accumulate three hits and two RBIs, contributing significantly to his team's success.

The Coyotes maintained their offensive momentum, with notable contributions from various players. Catcher Derek Smith's impressive home run in the second inning provided a crucial boost, while first baseman Mikey Cruz showcased his hitting prowess with a triple and two RBIs.
