Henderson, NV – April 13, 2024 – In an impressive display of baseball prowess, the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) claimed a resounding 14-0 victory over Community Christian College (CCC) at Morse Stadium on Saturday. The game was decided early with CSN taking a commanding lead in the initial innings and continuing their dominant performance throughout the shortened five-inning game due to the mercy rule.
From the outset, CSN hitters found their rhythm, starting with a single down the right field line from Mikey Cruz that drove in Brady Ballinger for the game's first run. The hits kept coming, with Nick Garritano adding a two-RBI double to left field, and Colin Hushaw contributing with an RBI single to center. An error by CCC's right fielder allowed Marcos Carrasco to advance to second and brought in the fifth run of the inning.
