North Las Vegas, NV – The College of Southern Nevada (CSN) women's soccer team put on a clinical display of dominance in their 16-0 rout of Community Christian College on September 10, 2024, at home. The Coyotes remain undefeated in conference play with a 2-0-0 record (3-1-0 overall), while Community Christian College drops to 0-2-0 on the season.
From the very first whistle, it was evident that CSN was on a mission to control the game, and they wasted no time getting on the scoresheet. Forward Nathaly Perez-Rodriguez started the scoring in the 8th minute, assisted by Melinda Bravo-Avendano. What followed was a relentless onslaught of goals, with CSN tallying eight times in each half.
Midfielder Kerrigyn Lynam led the charge for the Coyotes, netting a hat trick with goals in the 12th, 60th, and 70th minutes. Lynam also contributed two assists, showcasing her all-around playmaking ability. Jenna Garcia was equally impressive, adding three goals of her own in the 17th, 49th, and 66th minutes, while also assisting on Lynam's final goal.
