North Las Vegas, NV — October 11, 2025- The College of Southern Nevada Women's Soccer team put together one of its most complete performances of the season on Saturday afternoon, pushing Eastern Arizona College before ultimately falling 3–2 in a competitive ACCAC matchup at the Cheyenne Sports Complex.
Eastern Arizona opened the scoring in the 11th minute (Brynn Kelly), but CSN answered three minutes later when
Monica Lopez-Torres finished a service from
Kate Oliva to level it 1–1. The visitors added goals in the 24th and 44th minutes to take a 3–1 lead into halftime.
The Coyotes cut the deficit in the 55th minute as
Nathaly Perez-Rodriguez buried a feed from Oliva—her second assist of the day—to make it 3–2. Goalkeeper
Madison English kept CSN within striking distance with 11 saves, and the back line tightened up to hold EAC scoreless after the break.
CSN recorded 8 shots (5 on frame) and earned 5 corner kicks, with both goals coming off assisted sequences, underscoring improved ball movement.
With the result, the Lady Coyotes are 2-7-1 overall and 1-6-1 in ACCAC play. CSN hits the road to Yuma on Saturday, October 18 to face the Arizona Western College Matadors.
