Lady Coyotes Capture First ACCAC Championship with 5–4 Victory at Eastern Arizona

THATCHER, Ariz. — May 2, 2026 — The College of Southern Nevada made program history Saturday afternoon, rallying for a 5–4 victory over Eastern Arizona College to secure the ACCAC Regular Season Championship—the first conference title in program history.

With the win, the Lady Coyotes finished the regular season at 32–20 overall and 21–11 in ACCAC play, earning the right to host the Region 1 Softball Tournament beginning May 8 at Lady Coyote Field.

Eastern Arizona struck first, scoring three runs in the opening inning to take an early 3–0 lead.

The Lady Coyotes responded in the fifth inning with a three-run rally to even the game. Breya Hee reached base and helped spark the offense before Chloe Tepraseuth delivered a key two-run double. Destinee Lopez followed with an RBI hit to tie the game at 3–3.

Eastern Arizona briefly regained the lead in the sixth inning, pushing across a run to make it 4–3.

CSN answered in the seventh with the decisive rally. Hee reached base to start the inning, and Jimena Barraza-Caro followed with a hit to put runners aboard. Tepraseuth came through again with a clutch RBI double to tie the game, and Lopez delivered the go-ahead RBI to give the Lady Coyotes a 5–4 lead.

CSN finished with 11 hits in the contest. Tepraseuth led the offense with three hits, including two doubles, and drove in two runs. Lopez added three hits and three RBIs, while Ciana Cubi recorded two hits. Hee, Jaydah Chun, and Barraza-Caro each contributed hits in the championship-clinching effort.

In the circle, Haylee Holloway delivered a complete-game performance, allowing four runs (three earned) on 10 hits while striking out four. Holloway worked through early adversity and held Eastern Arizona in check over the final innings to secure the victory.

The Lady Coyotes' comeback victory capped a historic regular season and clinched the program's first ACCAC title.

CSN will now turn its attention to postseason play, hosting the Region 1 Softball Tournament at Lady Coyote Field beginning May 8.
