Coach Bryan Gidge joined the College of Southern Nevada baseball staff in 2011, he has been at CSN since day 1 of the Garritano era. He will be entering his tenth season at CSN and has been with Coach Garritano since 2002. Bryan is in his 17th year teaching with the Clark County School District. Bryan received his Bachelors Degree in Fitness Management from UNLV and earned a Master Degree in Teaching from Grand Canyon University.
Coach Gidge is the Pitching Coach: As Coach Gidge puts it " I Coach the Athletes, the pitchers. Pitchers are who control the entire game. The Coyotes can only go as far as the pitching will take us." The Coyotes consitatnley have one of the top pitching staffs in the conference and is highly respected in the country. He has had 10 pitchers selected in the draft under his watch and many more go on to 4 year universities during his tenure at CSN.
Playing Experience: Bryan played two years at Yakima Valley CC in 1996-97 then transferred to UNLV for the 1998-99 seasons. He was drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the 33rd round of the 1998 draft.
Bryan was born in Yakima, Wa on April 12, 1977. He married Jenny Kush on June 17, 2005, and has two wonderful kids, Mckenzie (11) and Averi (8). He enjoys fishing, golf and spending time with his family.
