Matt Stoner
Matt Stoner is an assistant baseball coach with the College of Southern Nevada baseball team. A Las Vegas native, Stoner has been a fixture in baseball coaching in Southern Nevada for decades.
Stoner’s on-field success in the Las Vegas Valley includes coaching at Green Valley High School, including a long stint under current CSN coach Nick Garritano. Stoner also was an assistant coach at Bishop Gorman and has coached Green Valley’s American Legion team.
He played prep sports at Chaparral High School, playing football, soccer and baseball for the Cowboys. After high school, Stoner played at Central Arizona College before finishing his collegiate career playing at UNLV. While at UNLV, he played with current CSN pitching coach Bryan Gidge.
