Coach Larimer

Sean Larimer

Coach Sean Larimer has been associated with the CSN baseball program for 12 years and is currently going into his 9th year as an assistant coach. Coach Larimer has served as the recruiting coordinator along with coaching the out fielders and the bases. During his time at CSN Coach Larimer has helped assist in Five SWAC championships, Three Region 18 championships, one Western District championship, and a trip to the NJCAA World Series (2017). Along with that he has helped the program to rankings has high as number two in the country and helped several players move on to four year schools and into professional baseball.

He started with the program in the fall of 2006 as a undergrad assistant coach and served that same roll until 2010 where the CSN coyotes reached the junior college world series.

Following the 2010 season, Sean moved on to UNLV where he served as an undergrad assistant coach. That same year Sean served as an assistant coach at Green valley high school where the 2011 Gators reached the Nevada state championship game.

Sean also coached the Green valley varsity Legion team from 2007-2011 as an assistant and head coach.

In 2012, Sean coached one more season at Green Valley High school before returning to CSN as the outfield coach in the fall of 2013. “As the outfield coach, I want the outfielders to play hard at all times and take charge over the whole field. We have to have the ability to run the ball down and make strong accurate throws back to infield." Most importantly be great people on and off the field. In addition, hope that as a coach I made a positive impact on them that they can take with them in the future when they leave CSN.

Playing experience: Sean played for Green valley High school 2003-2006. Then played one fall for CSN in 2007.

Sean was born and raised in Las Vegas Nevada. In his free time, he enjoys fishing, playing golf, watching the San Francisco Giants and most of all hanging out with his best friend Matty Cutt.
