Trever Berg, a College of Southern Nevada (CSN) Baseball alumnus from the class of 2019, is entering his first year as an assistant coach for the Coyotes. In his role, Trever will coach the outfielders, assist with hitting and baserunning, and serve as the recruiting coordinator. He will also oversee advanced scouting reports on opponents.
A Henderson native, Trever returns to his community after spending the last two years as the pitching coach at Colorado Northwestern Community College, where he also contributed to day-to-day operations and prepared the team's advanced scouting reports.
Trever was a multi-sport athlete at Basic High School, excelling in tennis, basketball, and baseball. After high school, he began his collegiate baseball career at Colorado Northwestern before transferring back to CSN. As a key player for the Coyotes, Trever helped the team secure both the SWAC regular season title and the Region XVIII championship in 2019. He completed his collegiate playing career at the University of Texas Permian Basin (UTPB) in 2022.
Trever holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Coaching from UTPB and earned his Master's degree in Coaching from the University of Northern Colorado in 2024.
Born in Henderson, NV, on March 15, 1998, Trever is engaged to Ashtyn Bauerle. Together, they have a one-year-old long-haired dachshund named Willie. In his free time, Trever enjoys spending time with Ashtyn, golfing, and watching sports.
