Amanda Montalto

Coach Amanda Montalto enters her second year with the Coyote's with this being her first year as the Interim Head Coach.  Coach Montalto was previously an Assistant Coach for the University of North Dakota from 2012-2014. Coach Montalto primarily works with hitters and during her time at North Dakota she was able to raise individual players as well as team hitting stats.  Her coaching motto is:  Process over Outcome
 
Coach Montalto graduated from Ball State University in 2012 with three MAC conference championships and one MAC tournament championship.  She has numerous accolades including:

  • Ball State's Career Records: doubles (57, first), home runs (38, first), RBI (153, first), total bases (366, first), walks (112, first), runs scored (108, fifth), batting average (.341, fifth), hits (185, seventh) and games played (210, seventh)
  • Ball State's Single Season Records: doubles (19 in 2012, first), walks (39 in 2012, first), home runs (15 in 2012, second), runs scored (52 in 2012, third), total bases (138 in 2012, third), batting average (.402 in 2012, fourth), RBI (49 in 2012, fifth) and hits (66 in 2012, sixth)
 
Coach Montalto was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV., and attended Palo Verde High School. She is the daughter of Dan and Renee with two brothers Matt and Justin as well as one amazing dog named Emma.
