Rick Christopher joined the CSN coaching staff in January 2020 as an Assistant Coach. His primary responsibilities include working with the outfielders and catchers, developing overall team defensive strategies, and assisting with camps and recruiting.

Before joining the Coyotes, Christopher was the Assistant Softball Coach at Liberty High School in Henderson, NV, from 2013 to 2019. During his tenure, the Patriots achieved over 120 wins, made the playoffs every year, and received several All-State and Regional Honors. In 2016, the team finished second in the Nevada D-I Sunrise Regional Tournament and ranked 8th in the MaxPreps Nevada High School Final Softball Rankings.

In addition to his high school coaching experience, Christopher has been successful in the travel softball circuit. As the Director of Operations for the Lil Rebels RC Program, he has served as the Head Coach for the program’s 14U, 16U, and 18U gold teams, many of which were nationally ranked. His teams achieved notable finishes at the Premier Girls Fastpitch (PGF) Nationals, including 17th place in 2013, 2014, and 2016, 25th place in 2015, and 9th place in 2017. During his tenure at the travel ball level, Christopher has coached athletes who have gone on to play collegiately in prestigious conferences such as the SEC, ACC, Big Ten, Big 12, Big East, Mountain West, Big Sky, Colonial Athletic Association, American Athletic Conference, and America East Conference.

Christopher graduated from Chaparral High School, where he was part of two baseball state championship teams. He went on to play two years of collegiate baseball and holds a BS in Finance from UNLV.
