Salvador Garcia enters his first season as an assistant coach for the College of Southern Nevada women's soccer program.
A North Las Vegas native, Garcia enjoyed a standout playing career at Southeast Career & Technical Academy (SECTA), where he helped lead the Roadrunners to back-to-back Nevada State Championships in 2012 and 2013 while setting the school's career goals record. He continued his collegiate career at Lake Tahoe Community College, winning consecutive Golden Valley Conference Championships and helping the Coyotes reach the California Community College Final Four in 2015.
Garcia began his coaching career in 2017 at Equipo Academy High School and later took over as head coach of the girls soccer program. During his four seasons leading the program, he compiled a 71-23-8 record while guiding the team to the 2024 Southern Regional Championship and consecutive appearances in the Nevada Class 3A State Championship match. He was named the Nevada Class 3A Girls Coach of the Year in both 2022 and 2024.
In addition to his high school coaching experience, Garcia has served as a coach with Players SC since 2023, where he assists in player development and college recruitment while helping prepare student-athletes for the next level.
As an assistant coach with the Coyotes, Garcia brings a strong background in player development, championship experience, and a passion for helping student-athletes succeed both on and off the field.
