Ava Garritano serves as the Marketing and Creative Specialist for the College of Southern Nevada Sports Information Department, assisting with the department's photography, social media, creative content, and marketing efforts.
A Las Vegas native, Garritano graduated from Desert Oasis High School in 2024, where she played softball before transitioning her passion for athletics into sports photography and creative media.
Garritano began her collegiate career at Utah Tech University, attending from 2024-25 before returning to Las Vegas and enrolling at the College of Southern Nevada for the Spring 2026 semester. She currently attends the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, where she is pursuing degrees in Sports Management and Sports Media with an emphasis in Photography and is expected to graduate in 2028.
In addition to her work with CSN Athletics, Garritano has gained experience working with collegiate athletic programs at Utah Tech and UNLV. She continues to develop her skills in sports photography, digital media, and creative content while pursuing a career in collegiate and professional sports.
Garritano's connection to CSN Athletics extends well beyond her current role. She grew up around the department, where her father coached for 16 years and her brother played baseball for the Coyotes for two seasons before continuing his collegiate career at UNLV. In 2024, Garritano photographed CSN Baseball during its trip to the JUCO World Series, sharing the experience with her father on the coaching staff and her brother as a member of the team.
As a member of the Sports Information staff, Garritano combines her background as a student-athlete with her experience in photography and creative media to help promote CSN's teams and student-athletes across the department's digital and social media platforms.
