Grant Vermillion enters his first season as an assistant coach for the College of Southern Nevada men's soccer program.
A lifelong Southern Nevadan, Vermillion has dedicated more than 25 years to education, coaching, and youth athletic development. He earned his bachelor's degree in Physical Education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) in 1999 before completing a master's degree in Educational Counseling from the University of Phoenix in 2006. He later earned a Health Endorsement through Touro University in 2009.
Vermillion holds a US Youth Soccer National C License, an NSCAA Level 6 Diploma, and a Coerver Coaching Diploma. His commitment to coaching education has helped shape a career centered on player development and creating opportunities for student-athletes to succeed both on and off the field.
His professional career includes 25 years in education, including 23 years as an elementary physical education teacher within the Clark County School District and two years at a local private school. Throughout his career, he has emphasized physical fitness, teamwork, leadership, and lifelong participation in athletics.
In 2021, Vermillion became President of Nevada Rush Soccer Club, where he oversees the club's daily operations, coaching staff, player development initiatives, and long-term strategic planning. Under his leadership, Nevada Rush has expanded opportunities for players to compete at the collegiate level, earn placements with youth academies, and participate in international training and competition.
As an assistant coach with the Coyotes, Vermillion brings extensive experience as an educator, coach, and club administrator, along with a strong commitment to developing student-athletes and building successful programs.
