Jason Herbers enters his first year as Director of Athletics at the College of Southern Nevada after joining the Coyotes in June 2026, bringing more than 25 years of experience in higher education and intercollegiate athletics.
Prior to arriving at CSN, Herbers served as the Director of Development for Athletics at Utah Valley University. He previously served as General Manager of Sales for the Utah High School Activities Association.
Throughout his career, Herbers has held a variety of leadership and administrative roles in intercollegiate athletics at colleges and universities across Arizona, Minnesota, North Dakota, Utah, Washington, and Wisconsin. His previous leadership experience includes serving as Director of Athletics at Williston State College and the University of Minnesota Morris.
A Wisconsin native, Herbers earned a bachelor's degree in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Sports Management and a minor in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse. He later earned a master's degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Sports Administration from Eastern Washington University.
Herbers brings extensive experience in athletic administration, development, and leadership to CSN as he leads the Coyotes' intercollegiate athletics programs.
