Jermaine Brown enters his second season as Assistant Coach for the College of Southern Nevada men's and women's cross country programs. Drawing on his experience as an elite international sprinter, Brown works closely with the Coyotes to develop running mechanics, speed, movement efficiency, and overall athletic performance.

A native of Jamaica, Brown competed at the highest levels of international track & field and is a member of Jamaica's world record-setting 4x200-meter relay team. At the 2014 IAAF World Relays in Nassau, Brown helped Jamaica capture the gold medal while setting the current world record of 1:18.63 alongside teammates Nickel Ashmeade, Warren Weir, and Yohan Blake. He also earned a bronze medal as a member of Jamaica's 4x400-meter relay team at the 2014 IAAF World Indoor Championships.

Throughout his competitive career, Brown represented Jamaica in numerous international competitions and established himself as one of the country's premier sprint athletes, recording personal bests of 10.26 seconds in the 100 meters and 20.28 seconds in the 200 meters.

At CSN, Brown brings world-class experience and technical expertise to the Coyotes' coaching staff. His unique perspective as an international champion helps student-athletes improve movement efficiency, running mechanics, and overall athletic performance while providing invaluable insight into the mindset, preparation, and discipline required to compete at the highest levels of the sport.
