Michael Smith enters his fourth season as Strength & Conditioning Coach for the College of Southern Nevada men's and women's cross country programs. Smith oversees the Coyotes' strength and performance training, designing individualized programs that enhance athletic performance, reduce injury risk, and prepare student-athletes to compete at their highest level.

Smith is the owner and founder of Titan Athletes, a Las Vegas-based sports performance and sports medicine facility dedicated to helping athletes maximize their potential through evidence-based strength training, injury prevention, and rehabilitation. A Board of Certification (BOC) Certified Athletic Trainer and Nevada-licensed Athletic Trainer, Smith specializes in movement analysis, corrective exercise, soft tissue mobilization, and dry needling, providing athletes with a comprehensive approach to long-term performance, recovery, and overall health.

In addition to his work with CSN and Titan Athletes, Smith serves as the Head Track & Field Coach at Shadow Ridge High School, where he has coached for nearly a decade while developing numerous region and state champions. In recognition of his success, he was named the 2023 USTFCCCA Nevada Coach of the Year.

A native of Fallon, Nevada, Smith earned his degree in Athletic Training from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. His passion for sports medicine began during his own athletic career after experiencing injuries that inspired an interest in athletic training and performance enhancement. Today, he remains committed to helping athletes of all levels achieve their goals through science-based training, individualized care, and a long-term approach to athletic development.
