Bryan Astudillo is entering his fourth season as the head coach of the CSN Coyotes cross country and distance track team. Under his leadership, both the men's and women's teams were ranked in the top 25 nationally last season. Before joining CSN, Bryan coached at John A. Ferguson High School in Miami for five years. In 2015, he moved to Las Vegas and played a pivotal role in developing the middle school division at local charter schools, including coaching at Somerset Sky Pointe Academy.
Bryan graduated from Nevada State College in 2017 with a BA in Psychology and earned his MA in Educational Psychology from Touro University Worldwide in 2018. Before completing his BA in Las Vegas, he attended Nova Southeastern University on a track scholarship, becoming the first thrower ever signed by the university.
Bryan is a proud alumnus of John A. Ferguson Senior High in Miami, FL, where he graduated in 2007. A two-sport athlete in basketball and track and field, he became the first thrower from his high school to qualify for the regional championship and to sign an NCAA scholarship. He is now a member of the school's Athletic Hall of Fame.
Born in Brooklyn, New York, on September 15, 1989, Bryan was raised in Miami, FL, and moved to Las Vegas in 2015. He is happily married to Dr. Kayla Astudillo, and they have three children: Mason (16), Myles (4), and Kathryn (3). In his free time, Bryan enjoys attending Mason’s games and track meets, family bowling nights, and movie dates with his wife.
