Geoff Hawkins is the head coach of the College of Southern Nevada men’s-and-women’s soccer teams. He has been the head coach of the men’s program since 2015 and rose to become the Director of Soccer in 2017, meaning he is responsible for leading both programs.
The success for CSN under Hawkins has been palpable. The men’s soccer program as the Region 18 champion in 2016, finishing as one of the top-12 teams in that year’s NJCAA National Tournament. The team also won the Scenic West Athletic Conference title in 2017, a season in which Hawkins was named Region 18 Coach-of-the-Year.
CSN’s women’s program has taken a notable jump since Hawkins began leading the Lady Coyotes. In 2019, CSN beat multiple ranked teams and had the best regular-season record in program history with a then-record mark of 12-4-1.
A native of California, Hawkins played college soccer at Humboldt State University in Arcata, Calif. While there, he received an undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with an emphasis in teaching and coaching. He also holds a graduate degree from Marquette.
Outside of coaching soccer with Southern Nevada, Hawkins hold an “A” license from the United State Soccer Federation and he has worked developing players at the collegiate, high school and club levels for over 20 years. He has also served as general manager for a Premier Developmental League Team in his distinguished career.
Besides coaching, Hawkins enjoys playing a variety of sports and spending time with family and friends.
