After months of waiting, CSN fans finally got to see what 6'7 righty transfer
Ryan McDonald could do in person, and the West Virginia University transfer did not disappoint.
McDonald was absolutely filthy, not allowing a hit over 5.2 innings of work. Not to be outdone, sophomore
Joey O'Brien almost single-handedly secured the Coyotes first victory of 2018 himself.
The "Swiss Army Knife" led the team with 4 RBI's offensively and closed the show in style on the bump.
Joey tossed 1.1 scoreless innings, striking out four and combining with McDonald on a seven inning no-hitter.
Peyton Koopman,
Chase Cortez and
Roger Riley chipped in with 1 RBI apiece as CSN defeated Yavapai College 9-1.
The victory was the Coyotes fourth consecutive over the Roughriders and evened the teams record at 1-1.
