Southpaw Matty Mitchell got the start for the Coyotes and extended his scoreless innings streak to 10.2 after firing five shutout frames of  one-hit baseball. Mitchell punched-out seven Eagles on the way to victory number three on the season.

Southern Nevada remained hot offensively as they plated a double digit runs for the second consecutive contest. Matt Wong, AJ Amelburu and Hunter Heugly paced the offense with a pair of runs batted in apiece and Nick "Chewy" Hernandez chipped in with three RBI's in the teams eleventh straight victory.

CSN defeated USU-Eastern 12-5 to improve to 15-4 on the year.
