Lady Coyotes fell behind early and couldn't come back in a 10-6 loss to Utah State University Eastern Eagles on Saturday. Utah State University Eastern Eagles took the lead on a home run in the second inning.

Despite the loss, CSN did collect 12 hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Utah State University Eastern Eagles had 16 hits on the way to victory.

Utah State University Eastern Eagles fired up the offense in the second inning. Avery Blackhurst hit a solo homer.

Lady Coyotes scored four runs in the fifth inning. Kiana Burnett, Sabrina Saldate, Haleigh Olive, and Daryan Meade all drove in runs in the frame.

Utah State University Eastern Eagles scored five runs in the third inning. Cassidy Howe, Mckenzie Dorney, Carlye Levy, Blackhurst, and Ashlynne Adams all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

Levy led the Utah State University Eastern Eagles to victory on the pitcher's mound. She allowed 12 hits and six runs over seven innings, striking out seven and walking one.

Lindsey Daron took the loss for the Lady Coyotes. She lasted two and a third innings, allowing seven hits and six runs while striking out three and walking zero.

CSN saw the ball well today, racking up 12 hits in the game. Meade, Rilee Stookey, Saldate, Burnett, and Olive all had multiple hits for CSN.
 Olive, Burnett, Saldate, Stookey, and Meade each collected two hits to lead the Lady Coyotes. 

CSN was sure-handed and didn't commit a single error. Saldate made the most plays with seven.

Utah State University Eastern Eagles scattered 16 hits in the game. Howe, Levy, Madison Blauer, Blackhurst, and McKenna Gubanich all managed multiple hits for Utah State University Eastern Eagles . Howe went 4-for-5 at the plate to lead Utah State University Eastern Eagles in hits.
