Nick Rupp entered game 3 of the weekend hoping to improve to 6-0 on the season and help the Coyotes keep pace with Southern Idaho atop the SWAC standings.
Rupp left the game with a lead, but the Bruins battled back to knot things up in the top of the fifth 3-3.
After
Joey O'Brien struck out the side with the bases loaded in the top of the seventh, the stage was set for some Morse Magic.
Reigning SWAC player of the year
Justin Lutes stepped into the batters box and sent the crowd home happy. Lutes launched a no-doubter over the left field wall to give the Coyotes a 4-3 walk-off win.
O'Brien improved to 4-1 after tossing three innings of no-hit baseball in relief.
