Even after claiming a victory in the series opener, USU-Eastern was hungry to claim another victory in game two while inching closer to Southern Nevada in the conference standings.
CSN jumped out in front 2-0 in the first inning courtesy of a
Justin Lutes RBI double that plated
Beau Capanna and
Joey O'Brien.
AJ Amelburu extended the Coyotes lead to 5-1 with his first collegiate round tripper in the bottom of the third inning, however it was the last score of the game for CSN.
The Eagles scored seven of the games final eight runs to stun the Coyotes 8-6 in game two of the series.
The loss dropped Southern Nevada to 12-10 in conference play and 30-14 overall.
