Another nail-biter broke out in Southern Nevada as CSN and USU-Eastern battled to the end in the series finale.

A back and forth game in which both teams seized and surrendered momentum came down to some clutch pitching in the late innings.

Tyce O'Neill and JD Brooks tossed the final 4.2 innings of the game, combining to allow just one unearned run while striking out five Eagles.

Justin Lutes paced the team with a pair of runs batted in that included a no-doubter to right field in the eighth.

JD Brooks earned his first collegiate victory after AJ Amelburu produced the game-winning hit to left field in the bottom of the 10th.

CSN outlasted USU-E 6-5 to earn the series split.
