PRICE, UT (October 10, 2019) – The College of Southern Nevada volleyball team fell in a Scenic West Athletic Conference match with a nationally-ranked foe on Thursday.
The Lady Coyotes were downed by No. 13 USU Eastern by a margin of 3-0 (21-25, 23-25, 11-25), falling in a Scenic West Athletic Conference match in Price. The loss drops CSN to 4-14 overall and 0-4 in SWAC play.
All three sets of the match were competitive as CSN finished with 36 kills on the night, including 16 in the close second set. Offensively,
Olivia Curtis posted double-digits with 10 kills in the match.
Laityn Sarna finished with 31 assists. Defensively,
Sierra Sullivan led the Lady Coyotes with 18 digs.
Southern Nevada will play against Colorado Northwestern Community College on Saturday at 12:00 p.m. Both programs are currently winless in league play. CSN will return home on Oct. 31 for a match against CNCC.
