HENDERSON, Nev. (September 13, 2019) – Facing one of the nation's top programs, the College of Southern Nevada women's soccer program experienced its first loss of the 2019 season Thursday at Heritage Park.
CSN fell in a 1-0 match to No. 7 Snow College, as the program suffered its first defeat of the season. The loss drops Southern Nevada's overall record to 6-1 and 0-1 in Scenic West Athletic Conference play.
A late goal by Snow helped the Badgers move to 1-0 in league play, as Kylee Stevens scored in the 79
th minute to send CSN to a loss. The Lady Coyotes held a narrow 6-5 advantage in shots-on-goal, in spite of being held scoreless.
The Lady Coyotes will play a non-conference match at Mt. San Antonio College on Sunday at 5:00 p.m. The team will return home on Thursday, Sept. 19, for a Scenic West match against in-state rival Truckee Meadows Community College.
