PRICE, UT. (September 26, 2019) – The College of Southern Nevada women's soccer team rebounded after a tough weekend, earning a tie at USU Eastern Thursday.
 
The Lady Coyotes finished in a 2-2 tie with the Eagles, starting a five-match road trip off in style. The tie moves Southern Nevada's overall record to 7-3-1 and a mark of 2-2-1 in the Scenic West Athletic Conference.
 
USU Eastern took a 1-0 lead before Nohemi Mendoza scored a goal in the 61^st minute to tie the score at 1-1. The Eagles retook the lead minutes later before Mendoza scored her second goal of the match in the 77^th minute. From there, neither team was able to gain an edge.
 
CSN took 7 shots in the match. Amanda Lujan made 4 saves for Southern Nevada in the match, preserving the tie in the overtime periods.
 
Southern Nevada will travel to play a match at Colorado Northwestern Community College on Saturday. The match is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. (MDT)
