HENDERSON, Nev. (September 7, 2019) – The College of Southern Nevada women's soccer team earned another banner victory Saturday, earning a 2-1 win over Otero Junior College to stay undefeated.
The Lady Coyotes controlled the tempo of the match, thanks to
Nohemi Mendoza having a career afternoon. Mendoza scored a goal for CSN just 5:41 into the match, followed up by a goal midway through the second half. Southern Nevada held a 21-2 advantage in shots in the match.
The win over OJC moves Southern Nevada to 6-0 on the season. The Lady Coyotes will host Snow College on Thursday, Sept. 12 at 3:00 p.m. at Heritage Field. CSN will also play a road match on Sunday at Mt. San Antonio.
