HENDERSON, Nev. (February 15, 2020) – There was so much that was perfect on Saturday as the College of Southern Nevada baseball team returned to Morse Stadium.
The weather in the Las Vegas Valley matched the play of the Coyotes, with a perfect game highlighting the on-field play. CSN earned a 12-1 win over Okanagan College in game one of a doubleheader, with a 10-0 victory over Prairie Baseball Academy that saw the perfect game victory.
Southern Nevada will play Prairie at 1:30 p.m., with a 4:00 p.m. game against Okanagan on Sunday. Both games will be played at Morse Stadium.

Austin Plante grand-slam home run was the highlight in an impressive CSN win.
Plante's grand-slam in the eighth inning capped off an impressive start for the Coyotes, one that featured 7 CSN hits and a strong pitching performance from
Johnny Cuevas.
Cole Schaefer started the scoring in the first inning on an RBI groundout, followed up by a
Peyton McGregor bases-loaded walk in the sixth inning to give CSN a 3-1 lead.
Plante led CSN by going 3-of-5 at the plate.
Nate Freimuth and
Kyle Turner both scored a pair of runs. Cuevas earned the win on the mound, throwing six innings of one-run ball.
Southern Nevada 10, Prairie 0: A perfect game thrown by the CSN pitching staff was the featured story in the nightcap to a doubleheader.
Chase Silseth and
Josh Brown combined for a perfect game, with Silseth striking out eight batters in four innings.
Austin Plante hit his second grand-slam of the day in the fourth inning, extending the lead to double-digits.
CSN had three batters with multi-run games, with Joey Walls going 2-of-2 at the plate. Plante went 1-of-3 and scored a pair of games.
