HENDERSON, Nev. (January 31, 2021) – The No. 20 College of Southern Nevada baseball team split day two competition of a tournament at Morse Stadium on Sunday.

The Coyotes earned a 9-8 walk-off win over the College of Southern Idaho to start the day, falling 15-3 to Salt Lake Community College in the late game. The split moves CSN to 3-1 on the young season.

Southern Nevada will play a four-game series against Pima Community College next weekend in Tucson, Ariz.

Southern Nevada 9, Southern Idaho 8: A thrilling walk-off win greeted CSN in the day's first game.

Tied at 8-8 in the tenth inning, Joseph Walls hit a single that scored Austin Plant, sending the Coyotes to the victory. Southern Nevada started slow, trailing 3-0 after the first inning. The Coyotes got on the board in the third inning, scoring four runs on three RBI singles and a passed ball.
