HENDERSON, Nev. (November 10, 2021) – The College of Southern Nevada Men's Basketball team earned a strong non-conference victory at home Wednesday.
CSN powered to its second-consecutive win Wednesday, earning an 85-75 win over Arizona Western College. The victory lifts the Coyotes to 2-2 overall.
Both teams were level throughout the first half, with AWC taking a slight 37-34 lead, until Southern Nevada caught fire offensively in the second half, powering to 60.7 percent shooting from the field (17-of-28) and 4-of-8 from three-point range. The Coyotes repeatedly turned their defense into offense in the game, scoring 32 points off turnovers.
Dominique Ford turned in a highlight performance, scoring 34 points on 10-of-16 shooting.
Darren Jones posted a strong double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds, while
Dayton Harris scored 9 points off the bench.
Southern Nevada will travel to play games at Phoenix College and Scottsdale Community College this weekend. The Coyotes will return home on December 1.
