Box Score ROCK SPRINGS, WY (November 19, 2021) – A competitive non-conference road game ended in a heartbreaking defeat for the College of Southern Nevada Men's Basketball program Friday.
The Coyotes, starting a two-game weekend set, lost a 70-67 decision to regional rival Western Wyoming Community College, losing in overtime. The loss drops CSN to 3-4 overall.
In a game that was defensive in nature, CSN averaged just 30.9 percent from the floor in the game (21-of-68) but forced 21 Western Wyoming turnovers. Offensive struggles continued for the Coyotes in overtime, with CSN making just 3-of-11 shots compared to Western Wyoming's 4-of-8 performance.
Dominique Ford scored a team-high 22 points for Southern Nevada, while
Darren Jones scored 18 points.
Tucker Peterson and
Kendrick Gilbert both scored 8 points for CSN.
Southern Nevada will play at Central Wyoming Saturday.
