NORTH LAS VEGAS, Nev. (December 21, 2021) – The College of Southern Nevada Women's Basketball team lost in the conclusion of a home tournament Tuesday.
CSN dropped a decision to Casper College, falling 62-36. Southern Nevada is now 6-10 overall with the loss.
The Lady Coyotes trailed early in the game, never recovering as Casper took a 26-12 halftime lead. Casper limited Southern Nevada to just 26.7 percent shooting (16-of-60), with CSN going 0-of-10 from three-point range.
Destiny Brown led the Lady Coyotes with 12 points, 7 blocks and 6 rebounds.
Ayauna Scott and
Shirley Phillips both scored 5 points apiece.
Southern Nevada will now take a holiday break, resuming play on January 5 with a road game against Barstow Community College.
