Lady Coyotes sweep doubleheader to open ‘Coyote Round Up’

HENDERSON, Nev. (February 26, 2021) – The College of Southern Nevada softball team opened a home tournament with a strong doubleheader sweep.

The two teams would trade the leads back-and-forth, with Kayley Cole hitting a two-run home run to cut the deficit to 9-78 in the fourth inning.

Covington hit a three-run home run in the fifth inning to help CSN reclaim the lead. Bailey Pepper added a home run in the fifth inning to up the CSN lead to 13-11, while Kayley Cole hit a two-run triple to cement the victory.
