EPHRAIM, UT. (February 9, 2021) – The excitement, pomp and circumstance of beginning a new chapter in intercollegiate sport found its way to the College of Southern Nevada men's basketball team Tuesday.

The Coyotes, playing their first men's basketball game since the 2002-2003 season, CSN opened the 2021 conference season with a 92-68 loss to Snow College, a longtime powerhouse in the Scenic West Athletic Conference. The game Tuesday was CSN's first of the season.

Snow held a commanding 41-26 halftime lead, making 9-of-9 shots from the foul line to key their early run. CSN led by three points, 7-4, minutes into the game but lost momentum as Snow took a lead and never relinquished it.

Dominique Ford had a team-high 15 points to lead Southern Nevada, while Larry Holmes and Jairus Dickson both finished with 10 points apiece. Nick Attanasio scored 8 points on 3-of-3 shooting.

Southern Nevada will travel to play nationally-ranked Southern Idaho on Thursday. The Coyotes will conclude the road trip with a game against No. 3 Salt Lake on Saturday.
