TAYLORSVILLE, UT. (March 13, 2021) - The College of Southern Nevada men's basketball team lost in a competitive game at a nationally-ranked Scenic West Athletic Conference foe Saturday.
The Coyotes lost a 73-61 decision to No. 11 Salt Lake Community College Saturday, narrowly trailing at halftime before the Bruins pulled away late. CSN fell to 2-8 overall and in Scenic West play with the loss.
Southern Nevada started the game well, taking an early lead in the first half while holding the Bruins to just 34.5 percent shooting in the half. SLCC would build on its narrow 29-25 lead at halftime, utilizing a strong rebounding performance to earn a 14-5 edge in second-chance points that proved to be the difference in the game.

Nick Attanasio scored 8 points for Southern Nevada.
Southern Nevada will play a pair of home games next week against Snow College.
